Just finished reading "Elixir Patterns". Lots of good working code examples with some pretty neat tricks that I have encountered for the first time. Big shout out to @akoutmos.bsky.social and @hugobarauna.com for this excellent book!

How can you make @bsky.app profitable without enshittifying the platform? We asked CEO @jay.bsky.team about her plans for the company at #WIREDBigInterview: wired.trib.al/kFm4jPL

Ok, this is incredible. For anyone familiar with BART in the Bay Area, someone (sneakily) stuck a GoPro to the front of one, filmed an entire journey end-to-end, and then made a documentary out of it (overlaying fascinating audio). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-Jrp6it9Ss

This is something that me and my town board started working on in 2019. Dryden Fiber is the 1st municipally owned ISP in New York and is also the first ISP in NY to connect people under the NY municipal infrastructure program. Thank you President Biden for the grant funding.

Now that the town of Dryden has been awarded a $9 million grant by the state of New York, town residents — and those of the town of Caroline — may want some answers on when they can get high-speed internet service.

@9to5mac.bsky.social is there a known issue with the Apple Card this week? Have seen a number of reports of merchants declining a card, but the transaction still going through successfully on the user's end.

Happened to me on Tue, and now seeing it manifest at work (I work at a payments company).
