Sadly, the 2 line ends at the South Bellevue station, currently. So we have to hop on the 550 to get over to the 1 line.

First leg complete at the downtown Redmond station. Lots of shopping and food options nearby. This is probably our favorite station. We’re noticing the differences between the older and newer trains in terms of lighting, electronic signage, and legroom.

As an app developer, I'm forced to live in the Apple & Google ecosystems. To fight back, I changed the top of my settings page to look like this. I think of it as "carbon offsets for fascism". For every dollar that Apple & Google get from my app, I give a dollar to Protect Democracy.

As an app developer, every $ you earn benefits democracy foes Google and/or Apple. My solution - "carbon offsets for fascism" - I donate the same amt that Apple/Google get from @crewnerd.app each month to @protectdemocracy.org, and promote their work on my app settings page.

First hardware hacking I've done in many years! Augmented the septic controller at our vacation home to replace the audible alarm with notifications sent to my phone. Used a Meadow F7v2 Feather controller, an AC opto-coupler, and IFTTT.com.
