I used Publisher. A screen shot of the monster name from the pdf, and copy/paste stats. 4 per page gave enough space for most stat blocks with some resizing. The more involved stat blocks, like oozes, I just put the page number on the card for all the tables.

There is definitely a lot of that. I have only played 1st edition, so maybe it has changed. It gives you the feeling of wu shu film character. And very much plays heavily on tropes.

Agreed, I am about 9 months into a home brew campaign and every one is having a good time. My players all come from 5e so there is definitely some adjustments on expectations. But as a GM I find the rules and vibe very inspiring.

Not too bad. I completely changed gears a few years back and became a nurse. I work at the health and science university in Portland and mostly try to be as big of a union shaped thorn in the side of management as I can be.
