Based on the timings of the news stories it suggests that given the rejected £1m Elphege demands being too rich, we’ve binned the idea of paying a fee for reinforcements and switched to shopping in the bargain basement aisle instead. Lots of ifs and buts but suits the narrative for the neigh sayers.

This year I made a conscious decision to break away from Twitter having been on there pretty much since it started. Can’t remember the last time I enjoyed the experience on there.
Hoping this place livens up a little. But finding it a refreshing change.

Both Dad and Grandad had been fans before me so inevitable. Grandad got to see us (Pompey) while we were a real force in this country, and Dad as we began our slide right the way down to the fourth division and all the way back up again. One more promotion and I’ll have done the same.

Quiet so far but hopefully gain momentum as the switch over builds.
