Just finished reading The Gales of November by @JohnUBacon about the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. I truly could not put it down. Riveting history of the Great Lakes and the people behind the legend. A+.

Proving that we are indeed two different people, here I am with Joyce Vance at the Texas Tribune Festival. I can’t tell you how many people stopped me and asked me to sign her book!

Thanks to everyone, who came out to my talk last night at Millersville University. Special thanks to be League of Women Voters for their role in organizing the event. Their motto—voting is your superpower!

I visited the Gettysburg National Battlefield and Cemetery while I was in central Pennsylvania for last night’s book talk at Millersville University. This site, where 55,000 Americans died, is a moving reminder of the value of peaceful protest. Next stop, No Kings rally!
