i feel like i get what u mean. as much as ive been complaining about winter the way climate change has impacted the seasons here has gotten really noticable over the last decade and it is upsetting. see if snowshoeing through the woods was the primary winter activity i woule be right there with you

my inital post was mostly just a vent bc the big snowfall we got today caused a lot of problems 🥲 i completely get preferring cold climate to hot especially for your circumstances & i know that summer has gotten really bad. but summer haters get to complain so i claim my right to be a winter hater 🤣

ya my main gripe with winter is that it makes everything more difficult 😞 there ARE many things i like about winter but for me personally the cons outweigh the pros

i do actually have more nuanced feelings about winter and i think when you grow up somewhere with bad winters it becomes a part of you. if i lived away i'd probably miss it too but at the end of the day i am a warm weather girl and i hate how restrictive it is to the things that make me happy :(

IM SORRY if i didnt have to drive in life threatening conditions or exhaust myself clearing a path and my car before going to work and didnt require expensive winter gear to be protected from the elements and didnt mean that i only get to see greenery for 4 months i would feel differently 😭

literally the only good thing about it is aesthetics but when you spend 6 months of the year without any kind of greenery that gets old fast
