Growing up playing primarily hockey, lacrosse and soccer, starting into the 80s, and playing as an adult into the early 10s, the reffing is when the refs “let them play.” The nitpicky rules lawyering that comes in football and baseball was something really strange to me as a spectator.

Lamar was ok enough. That fumble just before/at the end zone was so brutal and would’ve been a game changer if he just went down there…
