I don't really consider myself a fan of Star Wars. Infact, there is much I don't really care for in SW. But whenever I see stuff like the concept art made now, I wish they would just expand on their darker concepts with freshness and vigor. Drop all pretenses of nostalgia and just explore war.

One of the most formative moments in my life was when I watched Star Wars episode IV and V, when I was around 8 years old. I had only watched cartoons or stuff very stereotypically for families at that time. What I saw completely blew open my mind. That stuff looked apocalyptic to me.
