I don’t think in general it’s unreasonable to have, or share these opinions that I have expressed. And I certainly don’t think it’s reasonable to suggest that I am tarring all nerds or technology which again, I don’t believe to have absolutely any connection to effective altruism.

I don’t mean to frustrate or offend you. I didn’t think you were a supporter of EA and would not have raised it here if I believed you were.

I truly have absolutely nothing in my brain that connects nerds or tech with EA which from what I’ve personally read is just sloppy rationalizing.

I didn’t know that there was anybody who publicly would still admit to it since SBF blew up.
