How would you level up Scarborough and Blackpool, out of interest?

Counterpoint: London is almost 10x the size of Leeds (also Brighton has grown a lot in the last few decades)

Oh and not that it matters as much as good road/rail but Scarborough Athletic are in the National League North whereas Brighton and Hove Albion are 7th in the Premier League

It’s also good to consider the seaside towns that are doing well - Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay, Staithes, etc. They’re also not well connected *but* they’re a lot smaller so people are willing to travel for the quaintness. Scarborough and Blackpool have the worst of both worlds - big and cut off
