Official Bluesky account of United States Senator Tammy Baldwin's office, proudly working for the State of Wisconsin.
Wisconsin small business owners and families will either have to pay sky-high health care prices or forgo insurance altogether.

Today, I heard from Janine and Kim in Green Bay about these exact fears if these tax breaks are ripped away.
November 14, 2025 at 7:04 PM
If Republicans take away these health care tax breaks, small businesses like those here in Madison will struggle to stay afloat, hire staff, and keep their doors open. They shouldn’t have to choose between caring for their employees or risking their business’s success.

I’m not ok raising health care costs on 22 million Americans – it is as simple as that. wisconsinexaminer.com/2025/11/13/a...

Sen. Tammy Baldwin is continuing to push for an extension of subsidies that helped a record number of people afford health insurance.

The current health care fight in Washington proves now more than ever, we need a health care system that works for Wisconsin families. It was great to be with the Medical College of Wisconsin to talk about our path forward to do just that.
November 13, 2025 at 1:56 AM
Today, I stood with Nancy & Erica in Milwaukee to make clear the fight for lower health care costs isn’t over.

They are two of the 275,000 Wisconsinites who rely on health care tax breaks and are scrambling to figure out how to afford care next year if Republicans refuse to act.
November 12, 2025 at 10:05 PM
I put forward a simple amendment to the government funding bill that would’ve extended health care tax breaks to give folks some breathing room.

Every. Single. Republican. Voted NO.

This fight isn’t over.

Today, we celebrate the service and sacrifice of the millions of Americans who have donned the uniform.

Thank you to our veterans, their families, and all those who support them.

The Trump administration is doing everything possible to not feed hungry families.

It is cruel, wrong, and needs to stop – these are real families who he is toying with.

This is the price that a family in Eau Claire will have to pay for their health care plan next year, thanks to Republicans. Does that look affordable to you?

This is the last thing families need on top of their already skyrocketing costs.
November 4, 2025 at 8:35 PM
Sending billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars to Argentina, instead of lowering health care costs for hardworking Americans, is a slap in the face to families across our country.

Trump’s message is clear: There’s money for people in other countries but not for you.
November 3, 2025 at 1:02 AM
Who’s going to get hurt the most by Republicans jacking up Americans’ health care costs?

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦Middle-class families
🧓Seniors
🛍️Small business owners
🧑‍🌾Farmers

Plain and simple, this is going to hurt the very people who keep our economy running.
November 2, 2025 at 3:38 PM
When families say they don’t know how they will afford life if Republicans jack up their health care costs, THIS is what they mean.

These are the prices that many families in Wisconsin will be forced to pay to get health care. This is what Republicans are OK with.
November 1, 2025 at 11:30 PM
Open Enrollment starts today. Many Wisconsinites will see their monthly health costs double, triple, – even quadruple on HealthCare.Gov!

Take a picture of how much more you’re paying & send it to your representative.

Republicans can act, but they need to hear from you.
November 1, 2025 at 8:21 PM
This is a message I got from a constituent in Watertown, WI. Republicans are raising her health care costs by nearly $2,000/year! This is completely unaffordable for her.

I’m fighting to make sure this👇🏻 doesn’t happen.
October 31, 2025 at 9:58 PM
We need to lower folks’ costs – not raise them. But these are the prices that many Wisconsinites will have to pay next year if Republicans keep refusing to act and jack up their health care costs.
October 30, 2025 at 6:33 PM
Trump could feed hungry families if he wanted to. He is CHOOSING not to and instead using them as a bargaining chip.

Come Saturday, when families find out their food stamps have been taken away, they’ll know who to blame.
October 30, 2025 at 3:47 PM
🚨NEW🚨Wisconsinites don’t have to wait until Saturday to see how much Republicans are going to raise their health care costs in 2026. Right now, families can log onto healthcare.gov and see it for themselves. 👇🏻

So let me get this straight: Donald Trump sent $20 BILLION (in U.S. taxpayer dollars) to help his friend out in Argentina, but refuses — yes, he is literally refusing — to use funds available to make sure food keeps flowing to hungry families across America.

This is appalling.
October 29, 2025 at 2:55 PM
You are reading that right. Some Wisconsinites could pay $30,000 more next year for the exact same health insurance.

My Republican colleagues still have a chance to stop this – the time to act is now.

This is good news for Wisconsinites who believe women have the right to control their bodies and futures.

But make no mistake, Republicans keep coming after women’s freedoms. I won’t back down from this fight. www.wpr.org/news/planned...

I guess cutting billions from SNAP in his Big Ugly Bill wasn’t enough for Trump. Now, he’s choosing —yes, this is a choice — to not give families the critical food assistance they need to feed their families.

The Trump Administration is leaving Wisconsin communities to fend for themselves by denying them federal assistance. No community can pick up these pieces alone. I’m calling on this Administration to step up to the plate and help Wisconsinites who need it. www.nbc26.com/doorcounty/i...

On Nov. 1st, Wisconsinites will be able to view their 2026 health care premiums on healthcare.gov and see how much Republicans are raising their health care costs by.

We’re a week away from that happening, and Republicans still have no plan to fix this mess they’ve created.
October 25, 2025 at 5:18 PM
Our farmers and ranchers do understand, Mr. President.

They understand that this administration is prioritizing giving favors to the President of Argentina – not them – and that their businesses will suffer because of this.

We’re now on Day #23 of the Republican government shutdown — the second-longest in history, behind Trump’s last shutdown — and Republicans are STILL refusing to come to the table.

These guys just don’t care that Americans’ health care costs are about to skyrocket – but I do.
