Agree. The nuance is that OSU didn't "buy" a $20M roster, it spent money to keep their own players from going pro with a few key additions. Most teams don't have the same talent level to try it and It has yet to be proven that any team can just pay players outright and accrue enough talent.

I think the thing you're missing is the top stars need to race each other. A lot. Jakob and Josh did that. But you often don't see it in the sprints and it hurts the sport. That's what Michael is trying to fix. We need to think like Tennis not Boxing (one big match every 4 years).
