"Thanks" for a passing memory of being on the Beer Kill (Ellenville take out) when the NY DEC officer and I carried our kayaks around Hanging Rocks Falls. He (Ben) drove me back to Marcus road (shuttle) and we lived to paddle another day because no one had to swim or be rescued

Beautiful (B&W?) and too peaceful for the (imaginary) wake of a winter kayak, but should the sun shine that day, the "crystal chandeliers" near the banks are not the only sight and sounds of a stream or moment in time for a very skilled photographer that must have been standing on a bridge?

the lack light pollution on the southern horizon was a consideration when relocating from "sunset terrace" (despite my somewhat blurry vision and occasional sleepless nights...) it is just to cloudy to see Orion's belt so early on a Nov. morning. Hopefully things will clear up for a Dec. full moon
