My (late) friend, John Mylod.
Served as front gunner in WW II with British military. Flew in hundreds of missions. After shooting down a German aircraft, was awarded Distinguished Flying Medal by King George.
I had the honour of getting to know him in Canada. We shall never forget those who served.

In honour of my dear friend John Mylod ( deceased 2021 at age 101 yr).
He was a bombardier(front gunner)during WW2 in the UK.
Flew 20 missions on the Wellington Bomber( in photo), then flew 30 missions in the Lancaster. Awarded Distinguished Flying Medal by the King.

My favourite seniors! They belong to my son but I see them almost every second day. These old boys are treated like royalty, as they should!

Well unfortunately a cold has caught me in its grasp, so no baking today.
However, Butter Tarts & Biscoff Cheesecake squares ( and much more!) are in the near future. My grandkids all live very close & regularly put in their “orders” . This is a sign my daughter gave me.
