I have no idea how these competitions work, perhaps the organisers are the type of transphobes who think that woman automatically equals AFAB, and that simply calling it a women’s event makes it obvious trans women would be excluded? 🤷

Given how trans and intersex women get harassment for participating in sports events that allow them I can’t imagine any of them purposefully trying to sneak into an event

I think OutSports got it wrong as they posted a policy from Strongman Corporation, who are separate but similarly named to Official Strongman. That’s the one that comes up when you google “strongman transgender policy”, so it’s very plausible that JB thought it was the correct one for her event

I have a vague recollection of seeing something on Twitter about her or her husband having an anti-trans article featured in a (French?) pamphlet that also contained an anti-gay article, but I can’t seem to find anything about that now, so perhaps I’m thinking of the wrong person
