From someone with years (if you include time during getting my degrees, decades) of experience in UX who is currently looking for a job, this comment baffles me. Jobs are so rare, lowest paid UX jobs are swooped up by seniors. At least in UK (though I'm also looking remote).

This is so sad, but absolutely no surprise. As a UX person myself, jobs are super rare, C-levels thinks our job can be done by AI or isn't worth paying. In gaming, UX is currently dead. The result? Crap experiences left and right. And no one gets why! Surprise surprise. Sigh.

They have, the times constantly go in both directions. On /r/starcraft there's a screenshot from y'day after the Fatal Fury announcement showing 20 days, now it's less than 3 days. I wouldn't hold my breath.

Those countdowns have changed a dozen times over the last few months, they've been sometimes at 20+ days, sometimes at -2 days, sometimes at 3 days.

That's funny, I'm the opposite. Built websites in pure HTML/CSS/JS for years, actually decades, and find it difficult to step into the ocean of toolkits and libraries.
