Same Mark!

I was the exact same. This and TOTK were the only 2 mainline Zelda's I never finished. Did get hooked on BOTW though for Switch 2, and I did end up really enjoying it. It still ranks relatively low in my rankings though for Zelda games.

My first DQ was 8 on the PS2, which is an incredible game. XI is also a brilliant entry. I'm gonna pick up the 1-3 remakes in the near future.

It certainly introduced or reintroduced people into the turn based genre but no I agree, it didn't save it. More people might be interested in turn based games going forward though.
