During steps 1 and 2 we got some really nice isolates with potent antimicrobial activity. And whilst fishing in the dark we also picked up some rally bright, luminescent guys. Back to lab, we are now doing the sequencing part to identify the biosynthetic gene clusters.

Hohoho… with christmas around the corner were did a bit of lab cleaning. Got rid of about 2000 old primers. A lot of time to design and money to buy went to the bin.
