Can we focus? Can we just take a beat and ask ourselves what kind of country shrugs off that kind of escalation? This isn’t just about politics anymore it’s about basic decency, rule of law, and whether we’re still paying attention as the ground shifts beneath our feet.

Let’s get this straight. We’ve gone from scenes of mothers being torn from their children in broad daylight, to headlines involving U.S. Senators being assaulted and detained. That’s not just a shift — that’s a free fall. And somehow, it’s all being treated like a Tuesday.

I'm incredibly moved that you found something meaningful in the podcast. If it helped you feel seen or less alone even for a moment, that means everything to me. Thank you again—for listening, and for having the courage to speak about something so deeply personal.

Alzheimer’s is especially cruel in that way. You're mourning someone while they're still physically here, watching the person you knew slowly slip away. It's heartbreaking, and it's also a form of grief that doesn't always get the recognition or support it deserves.

That’s why I do this—to help people feel a little less alone in what they’re going through. Thank *you* for sharing that with me. I’m honored the stories could be there for you in any way. Please take care of yourself—you’re not alone.

Covering events like this helps broaden the conversation and amplify voices that aren't always heard.
Please feel free to send along the details. I’d welcome the opportunity to attend or explore a way to shine a light on the movement in a thoughtful and accurate way.

Your perspective is important, and I agree that disability stories should center dignity, identity, and pride—not just challenges or medical narratives. I'd absolutely be interested in learning more about the upcoming Disability Pride March in NYC.
