The newly wed couple held hands as they ran down the aisle and shared another kiss at the end. They walked to the training room which had been transformed into the reception party. Everyone spent the night partying, drinking, eating and celebrating the newly married couple.

Alec hugged Magnus as they kissed passionately and everyone started to clap and cheer. Alec pulled away from the kiss just enough to whisper, “I love you so much Magnus.”

Clary then stepped forward and drew the wedded union rune on Alec’s arm before stepping back. Magnus used his magic to give himself the rune since the stele would hurt him. “I now pronounce you husbands for ad long as you both shall live. You may now kiss the groom.” Brother Jeremiah spoke.

Magnus then placed his ring on Alec’s finger and spoke his vows with a voice that quivered but that was filled with love.
“On this day, I give you my heart, my promise. That I will walk with you, hand in hand, wherever our journey leads us, living, learning, loving, Together, Forever.”

“I take you to be my partner for life, I promise above all else to live in truth with you and to communicate fully and fearlessly. I give you my hand and my heart as a sanctuary of warmth and peace and pledge my love, devotion, faith and honor as I join my life to yours." Alec spoke.

The music slowly ended and Brother Jeremiah greeted everyone. Alec took Magnus’ left hand in his and slid the ring onto his finger as he began to speak his vows.

Raphael and Magnus soon came into view and Alec instantly lost the ability to breathe. Without knowing, Alec and Magnus were thinking the same thing in that moment “Wow. He looks amazing.” Raphael slowly led Magnus down the aisle and handed him off to Alec who helped him up onto the alter.

Catarina and Clary walked side by side up the aisle. Clary held the rings and a stele on a white pillow. Madzie walked behind them spreading flower petals. Madzie wore a beautiful pink dress with her gills showing. The three had huge smiles on their faces as they took their places on the alter.

“By the Angel, why am I so nervous?” Alec whispered as he fiddled with his fingers. “It’s normal. You’re about to marry the love of your life. Just take..” Izzy stopped talking as the music started to play. The beautiful piano version of ‘I Get To Love You’ by Ruelle echoed through the Institute.

Alec, Izzy and Jace walked down the aisle and stood on the alter next to Brother Jeremiah. The three looked out over all their family and friends in attendance. Maryse, Robert, even Asmodeus came just for this day.

Back at the Institute, Alec stood in front of his mirror with his family around him. He smiled happily as Izzy pinned his brooch to his jacket. “It’s time to go Big Bro.” Alec nodded and took a deep breath. “I’m ready.” He mumbled with a nervous smile and laugh.

“Everything is ready Magnus. It’s time to head to the Institute. Luke is here to drive us.” Magnus nodded and took his bouquet before everyone walked out of his loft. Luke was waiting beside his beat up pickup truck wearing a sharp tux and smiling.

“Breathe Magnus. You’ve waited for this your whole life. It’s finally happening.” Raphael spoke softly.

Clary walked into the room with the brooch and Magnus’ bouquet. She smiled as she pinned the brooch to his jacket.

Magnus stood in his loft with Catarina, Raphael and Madzie. It was finally the night of the wedding, his wedding to the love of his life. He took several shaky, deep breaths as Catarina helped him button his tux. Raphael stood behind him with a smile on his face.

I made a small change in song to the song that was actually in their wedding scene because it fits so much better but here we go.
