sliding back in here rq because in case it wasn't obvious, by "their" i mean loghrif & mitron but also the flashback cutscene has Weird Vibes, i'm trying to express that conceptually it is something i Would be into but the overall of it means i actually Am Not

doesn't help it followed up autoplaying an ep i didn't finish watching starting with hrothguy on the first & the flower which ordinarily just causes mild cringe for me but combined with some of the reasons i am now just. aaaaaaaaaaaa

god i can imagine. i'm honestly very glad i wasn't around thr spaces for that release & just had my gf telling me about the ff8 references & the final boss because playing through it made me so viscerally uncomfortable i sometimes wish i'd skipped story

listen. i actually very much enjoy the obsessive turn of it, down to the whole 'wanting to merge into one being to be together forever' & their seemingly general dynamic but unfortunately mitron being presented as an older man & gaia as a teenager is just. (smacks him repeatedly with a newspaper)
