9. Sonic Rush, I freaking love the Sonic seroes despite its low points its always had diamonds within the coals and Sonic Rush is certainly one of them. It introduced my favorite Sonic character Blaze the Cat and I wish Sega would give her a game of her own. 💜🔥

8. Skyward Sword It was mixed when it came out but I could never hate such a delightful game. The visuals are gorgeous, the characters are great and expressive and the gameplay was actually really enjoyable. and is the game where link and zelda where most obviously in love which is sweet.

7. NieR Replicant, One of the greatest and harrowing stories in games and a beautifully disturbing black mirror to our world.

6. Octopath Traveler 2, perfected everything the first one started. overall better story with party interaction as part of the plot which the first game severely lacked. Also has one of the best OST’s off all time.

5. Kingdom Hearts 2, after all these years it still reigns supreme as the best KH game it has the best story combat and overall vibes.

4. Smash Bros Melee, This game was a large scale introduction to a ton of series I love having initially played it cause Pikachu was in it and it is in my view the quintessential smash game with the perfect balance of fun and skill.

3.Final Fantasy VII Remake/Rebirth while IX is my favourite id love to mention how much I love this homage to the original 7. I personally enjoy the story deviations and integrations of the spin offs materials as well as the return of everyone’s favourite puppy 💜

2. Okami, this game has an absolutely gorgeous visual style and lore that hooked me on Japanese mythology. I cannot wait to see what the sequel has in store.

1. Majora’s Mask, this game easily eclipses ocarina of time saying that as someone who loves oot and the limited dev time made it a miracle of a game, I also love the 3 day time limit its very much to the games benefit.
