This settlement sets a new precedent in Arizona—one where businesses commit to being good neighbors to the communities they operate in and make meaningful efforts to reduce pumping of our most precious resource—groundwater.

In Arizona, the list may be pretty similar, especially those at the top. We should not shame anyone for needing this program. However, we should call out corporations that pay so little that their employees qualify for these safety net programs while often getting tax relief themselves.
