We find that pathogenic variants manifest in two subtypes: with "Long" (>800 aa) and "Short" (<800 aa) IDRs. The Long IDRs subtype shows a strong signal of disorder-to-order transition and surface area depletion, both of which are reversed in single-mutation simulations.
