Car Robots/RID 2001's Scourge had a specific color scheme layout, and I feel, Hasbro, has totally failed to replicated that feel of the colors. Which makes Scourge's character stand out. I would say, "Hasbro" just sees Scourge as a black colored Optimus Prime. When he is much more.

This prototype is. The final version will be made up of 4-5 pieces.

V2 print is done. I'll share some photos in an hour or so. If it checks out, I'll begin designing the toolings, and hopefully start machining the first part tonight.

Totally. The figure designs weren't slavish to the G1 cartoon, so you could have fun creating upgrade heads and accessories. Now, most everyone wants things to be a copy of the cartoon or source material, which doesn't give any room for creativity for designers.

I pitched the idea before I started Renderform, so it is something doable now for me....
