Considering I knew virtually nothing (lol) about VWP, I was impressed by this series. It was solid and stood on its own, though it definitely had special treats for the long time fans… It's on the darker side, but worth watching. A+ music.

Sumikko Gurashi the Movie: The Kingdom in the Sky and Two Children
I have now entered the Sumikko fandom and I have no regrets. What an adorable, precious time. It’s pretty impressive what level of storytelling you can do without voice acting. The deus ex machina was very funny.
