Fun finding, which before measuring never even occurred to me: the neodymium magnets are all different strengths. 🙈

The first totally unscientific experiment is successful - a CR2032 is enough to kick off a small neodymium magnet off the coil. 🎉🎉😂

The PCBs have arrived, look pretty neat :)

Let’s go! :)

wanted to play with tangled.org, but attempting to do oauth login feels a bit off - surely the *identification* should not require all these privileges ? 🤔

Let’s try two new things at once - a new variant of PCB coil, and a driver for it... what can go wrong :)

Did myself a little treat - pcb generator for coils. This little contraption went into production in. JLCPCB, will see how it turned out !

A short story in 4 pictures. Hope it may help @elkevandenbrandt.bsky.social in her conversations.

I am glad you adjusted the viewpoint. As for the “personal bubbles”: I enclose an exhibit sample of content which I would like to shun myself from, and would be interested in your opinion whether I am losing some valuable view points in that process.

FWIW, the target of their research seems sceptical about it… :-)

The future is a lot of fun. 😂

Clauding a bit on the matter has resulted in some very interesting info, which, upon quick verification search, seems correct - if you feel like geeking it further 😂 (though maybe a cheaper option, if it is the sensor issue, is to field some more sensors), to see which one is going into the bin :)

Give Claude the tools and see if it can make some fire or something. Now I have Claude playing senior engineer and Groq running Kimi playing junior engineer. Since I am paying for both, I suppose that makes me an adventure capitalist. 😂

Amazing, the palette is pretty close to my “local radio” music collection streamer app 😂 I used Claude Code.

Spent last night a couple of hours with claude taking another shot at making a more intuitive UX for the refactor-oriented code editing tool.

rollerbikeparade.be/en/ was pretty awesome tonight. Was pretty hilly, so it was a great 3h exercise in glorious weather !

Brussels is full of tourists these days! 😂

For the first time ever I have a program whose source code gradually appeared on my computer in a matter of couple of days and I haven’t seen a single line of it. Was a kind of throw away thing (in the end I think figured out a solution with much less new code), but will be fun to pick it apart.

My DIY rear rack expansion, idle view and a couple of many many load-bearing views.

Long post, but it was a fair bit of fun to play with this.

Today’s end point for @critmassbrussel.bsky.social sports some really cool posters. And very nice to see 3000 or so of my good friends again! 😂

Did a couple of errands in the morning. The little 30cm*60cm luggage frame contraption is so convenient - with the widening of the base, anything I carry is attached much more securely, without the risk of falling on the side.

I bet it’s a keyboard layout issue.
