I don't know how concerned I should be that I've read most, if not all of the Japanese Isekai manga you've listed out.

If you watch that movie, my main suggestion is to keep a close eye on Ice Cube's camera feed because they have the sloppiest cuts of all time and it's HILARIOUS

It's also really funny how there was intrigue that lasted for like one whole mission and the characters were totally correct on the intrigue right from the beginning so there was zero surprise to the twist or emotional weight involved.

Also I haven't played a CoD since Infinite Warfare, but I've seen a little bit of newer Zombies. This just looks like they gave up on making an actual CoD game and made an excuse to have Zombies as the campaign gameplay by making it all a literal fever dream.

The main idea seems to be an introspective dive into the psyche of these characters nobody cares about, through the medium of gunning down hundreds of faceless goons in major formative moments of the characters' lives with zombies and giant monster boss fights as a sidepiece.

There's Arc Raiders for GOTY discourse? It's, like, fine as a game ignoring the AI garbage but I'd put a LOT of other games over it as a GOTY pick.

Boy, Scarecrow Fear Gas sure is convenient when you can't write. "Hey we need to prolong the mystery and also have the characters not be able to ask important questions, let's just have them black out and hallucinate jumping around a combat arena fighting giant plant monsters"

Man, it's SO bad. I'm watching a full playthrough and it's just some of the worst hack shit writing I ever did see. Makes me want to go back and play CoD4 again to wash the taste out of my mouth.
