oh, another thing; some people, including myself, use fiction as a way to navigate trauma. nobody is the arbiter of how one should cope with trauma.

my moral character should not be dictated by the fiction i enjoy or thr kinks i have. my character should be determined by what i have said and done in opposition to the things i do inherently oppose.

minors should stay away from NSFW spaces. antis only expose kids to more harm than the opposite. it’s disgusting and predatory, and i cannot stand by anti rhetoric to take hold in fan spaces, WSPECIALLY in spaces meant for adults and adults only.

i am an ex anti. havijg been in anti spaces, i’ve seen a lot of reactionary opinions and even actual fucking grooming take place; especially towards minors who end up being in anti spaces.

anti adults in those spaces expose kids to NSFW spaces in the name of “callijg out problematic things”.

to those who know me closely understand my stances on a lot of topics.

i do not condone abuse or anything inherently not good.

i also do not condemn the exploration of these topics within fiction bc i not only have basic media literacy, i know fiction has little to no impact on reality.

there is fiction and ship types that i do not like or advocate for personally, but it is not my job to censor it because i simply cannot. it is hypocritical of me to advocate for censorship of fictional material rather than focus on the actual harm occuring around me.

it does not mean “i support problematic ships and problematic material”, it means that i let people ship and ignore the not so great stuff. same with fiction; i ignore the fiction that upsets me personally so long as no tangible harm is done.
