I have ADHD, but so do SO MANY people in this profession and in the arts in general. Our brains were not designed to take in the amount of info and stimulation we do on the daily. That’s not changing. It’s an adjustment as a species. Technology isn’t a luxury anymore, it’s a requirement.

My spicy psych take is that the entire concept of what is neurodivergent vs neurotypical needs to be reevaluated. The way we communicate and the way our minds process information in the last few decades is such a wild shift from the rest of human history that nothing can be measured in the same way.
