From what I understand, it was that either the republicans nuke the filibuster and own the fallout of their bill or they cave on ACA subsidies. The latter would never happen so materially there's no difference from the passed bill and the former outcome except we still have the CR filibuster.

Definitely, he and the other 7 are the designated yes votes to cover for the rest of the senate dems. Whole thing needs to be torn down.
