I watched the Cenk-Hasan debate as background during work yesterday, and while I agree with Hasan politics-wise on some aspects, I feel like I sympathise with Cenk's position more now. I do feel like a lot of the online left hosts are grifters now. Cenk while mean and wrong headed is sincere.

I'm with Jason Slaughter that it's almost impossible to imagine sprawling suburbia to spontaneously change into something sustainable. I know some people are keen to fix it but I think in some cases they should just be allowed to die.
