Why doesn't everyone in academia just band together and say "no" to Trump? Why don't we all? He's the master of divide and conquer and getting the first domino to fall. Why do we fall for it?

What we need is a fund for government workers who've lost their jobs, so they can pay the rent. Alternatively, can we find a way to house them temporarily?
