An easy spot to visit for a bit of history is the General Post Office in the centre of Dublin, it still has bullet holes from the 1916 rising – and a museum dedicated to said rising in the basement! National Museum and National Gallery are also strong recs.

Lots of great suggestions already so I'll just add Newgrange, a neolithic site older than the pyramids of Giza – you even get to go inside into the tiny chamber that lights up with sunlight through a long passage just once a year on the winter solstace!

#TheDarkKnightRises is an Occupy Wall Street horror movie where any attempt at wealth distribution can only equal chaos and violence. The 99% are a misguided, bloodthirsty mob, led by con men who want everyone to die for unspecified reasons. Thank goodness Batman is there to #MakeGothamGreatAgain

Don’t get me wrong, #TheDarkKnight is a fantastic film BUT it also frames mass surveillance, kidnapping of foreign nationals, and keeping the truth from the public as necessary evils – as long as they’re done by the right, enlightened elite.
