I genuinely hope that any developers who can't afford to/refuse to hire voice actors just proudly use a shitty TTS or no voicing at all.

I don't know about y'all, but any developer using a vocoded phoneme-bank TTS that they created themself gets far more respect from me than any that EVER use AI.
