I mean fair point I guess, but it's been a decade since there was even a statewide federal race in VA within 5 points and no republican presidential campaign has seriously targeted it since 2008

I mean... ok? Republicans drew brutal gerrymanders of the state legislature after being given a trifecta in 2009 but since 2017 the only thing they've mustered is a 2 seat HoD majority on those same maps
