Had a GN bat when I was playing U-13s and it was an absolute stinker. Literally no middle at all.

I mean, it's good for us since the result is still a City win with Liverpool are missing a suspended player for their next one, but it stinks for sporting endeavours

I think they just stopped bothering to give them to us because we usually missed. This way just speeds the game up a bit

There is definitely some kind of mentality issue though. Every time we have the chance to do something like get to 2nd, get to a final, or turn up in a final we’ve actually gotten to, we just can’t get over the line

Yup that’s the difference between where we are and where we want to be - just that consistent ruthlessness. That’s about 2 steps away - the next step is doling out batterings, which we’ve barely done under Emery

We have a tendency to drop points in games we “should win” to make up for points won in games we “should lose”. Overall we’re probably far ahead of what we “should” have done for the season to be fair.
For us it’s about creating cushions to allow for these runs

From a purely business and footballing standpoint, last summer was the time to flog him tbh. We’ll get a pittance for him in the summer if there are even any takers he’d be interesting in joining

He’s probably working hard to make a nuisance of himself while running around a lot, making space for everyone else, and whatever other shite we collectively make up to excuse the fact that he’s been pish for basically the whole season
