Normalizing ‘antifa’ to Uncle Shirl is a necessary first step. There is no part of ‘anti-fascism is good’ that doesn’t help. Those who need to can go on and get their heart broken by learning that every foundational uplifting truth about ‘America’ is a lie. It’ll come if they hang around.
