Enjoy your time in Florida? I live here so I do have to say it questioningly since I don't particularly love this state. That said, some parts of the state will be cooler on Thursday & Friday. So there is that. 🫶

My hubs makes a killer pecan pie for me. Gluten free. My opinion is that as long as it's not peach & is gluten free I'm gonna be standing in line for the pie. I'm iffy on pumpkin & key lime but hey I only have an issue with peaches. Blame it on the schnapps.

It's a challenge living gluten free. I've had to adjust to many changes since I was formally diagnosed. The amount of things that just don't taste as good store bought that are gluten free is astounding & don't even get me started on the prices. Double the price & the taste is awful for 'pop tarts.'

I have to get both once a year. If they don't like my mammogram scans they'll put me back to twice a year again. I hate the prep for my colonoscopy but I make sure I have soup waiting for me at home. Every year whether I like it or not.

My cats see me stressed out or in pain and they immediately lie on me to calm me and keep me still. Better than my dog who barks. 🤣

Rabid? I have survived my non-ambulatory, cranky af MIL who has signs of dementia today. She's currently staying w/ us while recovering from surgery & we took her shopping. While she was getting tired. I'm doing things I swore I'd never do & I'm not screaming. Fuck rabid I'm just tired.

I had a homemade nacho bell grande for dinner. Turns out I should have thought twice about reading that after dinner. My delicious dinner is turning on me. ICKY.. That guy needs to work on his.. 'prose' if you must call it that.

I spent a couple hours with my oldest daughter on Sunday explaining transgender terms, how their rights are being stripped & even questioning her on whether her on if her uterus defined her as a woman. She was truly interested & left with more understanding. No such thing as a stupid question.

If they insist on them again any time soon ask about lemonade. Seriously that made it so much easier. I grabbed some clear crystal light mixed up a gallon and drank it. Still hated every moment of the prep but at least the taste wasn't as bad. I also started some prep a couple days early.

Ugh. You have my sincere sympathies. I get to have the damn things every year. And they have me on the MiraLax method. The only good thing is that they said I can mix it with lemonade. I won't vomit that. Gatorade is my enemy. May your colonoscopy shine.
