When someone has a script they claim is original, I don't think people generally question that being the start of chain of title. If the BD wasn't popular I could see no one involved being aware of it. I recently chased down a French comic & the rights co. told me their library is 100,000 strong.

It does feel right now like even strong samples, relationships, and perseverance don't register in a hiring pool overflowing with available experienced veterans. It can't help but be brutal on the psyche and self-esteem.
