I'm glad I gave this headset a chance because now I can say it's shit and no one should buy it. My third link cable is cooked and I've had it since May. HTC what the fuck? It's comfortable and has great lower face tracking but the qualities stop right there.

The straps that ship with official SlimeVR trackers though are really hit or miss for me. They're not a problem for ankle and thigh for me but for elbows and core they are frustratingly bad. But they're serviceable so it's largely ok.

Being able to really be myself in VR has been such an incredible experience which, I still kind of think is a funny thing to say because I am always going to be just me. But I am a different form of myself, almost maybe like a real-me I suppose. I haven't stopped smiling since thursday night in VR.

After a few days of having these trackers, I've been enjoying them so much. There's a learning curve to them which is fine, I'm willing to learn given the affordability of the SlimeVR IMUs compared to anything else I've seen. But seeing my legs move even if they're not 100% accurate is so affirming
