I wish the public acceptance of the anime and reception of the game turning around meant people actually exploring other cyberpunk media. Shadowrun has cyberpunk AND Illuminati dragons, shamanism, elves/orcs/dwarfs and the same opressive megacorps and desperately craves your attention.😞

Cyberpunk(the tabletop rpg) has always been comparatively light on the cyberpunk tone and themes. You’d be surprised just how Poe-faced and tone deaf the actual books are. They’re genuinely just catalogues of future-tech for high school nerds to fantasize about hurting their bullies with.

Cyberpunk(the tabletop rpg) has always been comparatively light on the cyberpunk tone and themes. You’d be surprised just how Poe-faced and tone deaf the actual books are. They’re genuinely just catalogues of future-tech for high school nerds to fantasize about hurting their bullies with.
This does sound tempting but honestly I am stupid and very lazy so configuring and updating the thing looks a little overwhelming. Also, there seem to be a lot of dubious knockoffs floating about.😞

This past few weeks I have run into several guys who thinks spinning bosses is funny “cause like they don’t hurt” & guys who likes to drop markers on people for laughs or who just babble obnoxious memes incessantly. That’s behavior that can’t be coached out of people unfortunately.😑😒

The bad players I encounter most aren’t the inexperienced players or the unprepared. It’s guys talking inane nonsense & waste time annoying folks or insist nothing in normals can hurt them so “why bother doing mechanics”. It just create unnecessary tension. Social expectations mean nothing to them.😒

Was it installed up high? When they did my place(long LONG after seemingly everybody else in metropolitan Victoria) they made a big deal about wanting to put it low to the ground and somewhere protected.🤷♂️

I was never cool enough to be invited to events I could underage-drink at. That said, every house party I went to during university was similarly appalling.😅🤷♂️
