refined my thoughts on what might make highguard a better product. this is just my opinion obviously and i would still love to see them run with the idea and try and improve it in any way they can, because it definitely has potential. just not in its current, very bad state.
not mp8 — 2:30 AM time spent attacking during the looting phase is simultaneously not a drain on resources for your opponent and an active drain on yours since its time that could be spent looting stuff for yourself it took me one match to realize this was a bad setup i dont know how they didnt same for it being 3v3 it feels wildly empty and the amount of loot feels balanced for that number if it was 6v6 with some amount of loot being dropped on death during the looting phase and not enough to go around for everyone evenly, you could try and make it so that theres a metagame around denying your opponents resources and them having to make up for it with the economy aspect of the game that certainly exists in its current form could make it an introductory moba basically easier for tiny gamer brain to latch onto aspects ripped directly from apex legends like shields or buffs or attachments than the more abstract idea of an item and minions and stuff
