Doug at ASEI has been a wealth of knowledge and industry insight. It's great to see a leader as young as him leading the way on industry changes I think need to be updated (mostly related to managed services). #avintheam

Security. We're working on a suite of services that we've been asked about, investing in security training. As other companies are still struggling to figure out managed services, we're continuing to push forward and be on the front edge of it for AV. Not to toot our own horn, but 📯 #avintheam

The early few years of starting a business are always stressful. Cash flow, making good partnerships, investing strategically. As cash flow increases, keeping the thrifty mindset and allocating money as it comes in instead of heading to debt is what we'll focus on. #avintheam

Continued development of PSA. More automation, customization, better reporting. Also got a third party service to help speed up writing sql queries for customer reporting requests and business reviews. I guess not totally unexpected, but it's good to see continuous improvement pay off. #avintheam

Focus on the personal aspect of sales. Social media, web marketing are easy, but don't have anywhere the returns compared to individual connection. Focusing on each individual potential customer is how we're approaching sales next year (and hiring a sales person!). #avintheam

Security is so so important. If we still want to be an industry that is know for caring about our customers, we need to put in the work to understand that facet of it. Push back against bad practices and learning about what works for IoT devices. #avintheam

And keep in mind they already rushed out image generation with poor results, so they're even too little too late on their own tech.

I'm still seeing a lot of integrators miss providing even basic metrics - downtime, usage, SLA compliance, etc. Customers will always ask for more, but the ability to easily customize that data is important. Not everyone needs the same reporting. #avintheAM #avtweeps.

Something that can actually evaluate the security of AV/IoT devices accurately. Monitoring doesn't fill the big blind spot of not knowing whether a device is secured or compromised, doesn't give us the tools to recognize vulnerabilities and address them. #avtweeps #avintheAM

K-12 education I think is a great market. Schools have decent budgets and need more technology as teaching tools and to reach kids where they are. I think there a lot of cool opportunities for integration and support there. #avintheAM #avtweeps
