To the kidney it will destroy them as well, by causing hyperplasia of the afferent arterioles and more and more, not forgetting Charcot Bouchard aneurysms of the lenticularstriate blood vessels of the deeper areas of the brain

Long term hypertension will put a whole lot of load on your heart a heart will respond by growing bigger, but sadly encroaching it's filling space. This means it will have a little space to fill blood and oops! HFpEF.

Great question! Aspiration pneumonia usually involves mouth flora (streptococci, Fusobacterium, Peptostreptococcus), not typically Pseudomonas or resistant GNRs. Gram neg concerns arise if lower GI contents are aspirated, but CTX covers gram neg like Klebsiella if needed so we're covered here ☺️
