$100 for shocks is outrageous! I spent $60 on 5 (4 shocks and a steering stabilizer tbf) for my 78 Chevy truck.

I don’t like old bay, so it’s sorta a net negative for me. The rest of the positives make up for it though.

When I first moved from OKC to MD, I was the same. Somehow, OKC has the lock on food compared to the mixing pot that is MD. I legit don’t get it. But at least I’ve learned how to cook better to make up for it.

Are you sure it's not just broken? My MIL has a 2017 Forester and it's fairly quiet and reasonably nice to drive. Not going to win any awards for driving dynamics or power, but nothing stands out to me as bad.
