I think one of the best upsides of the setting is that vehicles felt significantly more balanced compared to any other entry.

They were fun as hell to use, and you could still reliably fight against them as most infantry.

You will not miss that one guy going 70/3 in an attack heli.

I'd go as far as to say the multiplayer classes in Hardline have more personality than any of the other Battlefield games

The Swat and Undercover act professional most the time, the gang bangers are having a hell of a time, and theives clearly don't give a Fuck about each other lmao

The change in tone/setting was admittedly jarring; going from a conflict between the worlds most powerful forces to a game about car chases n bank robberies in Miami.

I will always have a super huge soft spot for it, it's my 2nd most played battlefield, only beaten by BF4.
