I've also yet been able to see any purpose to life or existence of anything. There is no reason for anything to exist; it just does. It is special that things exist and that we exist, but there is no reason for this. Purpose comes from within, not externally.

In order to believe in the concept of a soul or a higher power is to be in denial of so much modern scientific evidence, and instead favor very old, self-contradictory texts, and displays an inability or unwillingness to understand the science behind existence and life.
