WHY did you vote to fund ICE??!!
Your constituents are under fire (literally and figuratively), and yet you support this illegal opposition by voting ‘yes’??

2025 was The Year of the Voice and The Pen.
The Voice raised more, spoke more, cared less (a good thing).
The Pen wrote more, but nowhere near the quality or volume sought.

2026 is The Year of The Pen and The Emptiness.
Ongoing emphasis on quality, substantial writing and ‘less is more’ living.

What I find incredibly problematic with 'ghost kitchens':
--lack of public health regulation
--lack of socioeconomic accountability
--lack of sustainability
--lack of psychosocial accountability
--further drains resources away from local communities to affluents elsewhere

Now to find out about 'ghost kitchens' (see: Eddy Burback's 'Deceptive World of Ghost Kitchens' via YouTube).
If I ever needed a reason to continue avoiding food delivery, this is it.
The premise of ghost kitchens just exacerbates the concept of greed in our communities.

The premise felt. . .indulgent.
A luxury and a 'premium' convenience, to have food delivered to one's front door. It reeked of greed, indolence, sloth, and waste.
I did it _once_ (during pandemic shutdowns) and even that felt icky. . .even if it _did_ support locally owned restauranteurs.

When the pandemic shutdowns occurred, ordering from restaurants took a substantial pause.
Food delivery emerged (and/or rapidly increased), as a mitigation effort for restaurants to be accessible by consumers.
. . .at the same time that folk _could_ just go pickup the food ourselves.

. . .and wouldn't such an earnest work-centric approach also benefit from substantial medical coverage?
After all, if health care if well-covered, employees generally want to stay at their jobs, do the work, and thrive from the beneficial support.
Why all this emphasis to do otherwise, GOP?

Something that conflicts with conservative anti-vaxxers:
for a political party that seems all about return-to-work and 'everyone needs to be at work, all the time'. . .wouldn't they _want_ immunizations, so that employees _would_ be at work more often. . .and not (legit') calling out ill?

I think if you name a digital media platform “truth social“… you should probably, entirely only post facts… Otherwise, the thing is a spectacular fail… And the utmost in hypocrisy

Today, she does not one round (of 4) tunnels, but two.
Today, she fails her first leap, somewhat succeeds the second, nails the third. Leaping = jumping into my arms, 4-5ft away, from a height of 2-3ft up.
Today, on leaping round two: THREE OF THREE PERFECT!
So. damn. proud. of. her.

A month ago, started working with her on 'tunnel' : passing through a pair of tires, fixed in the earth. Not a skill she picked up readily. Now she can do four in a row, without error.
She likes to jump atop the tires, and then rest her forepaws on me.
So worked on leaping, these past 2 weeks.

This doggo, have had her since she was 3mo old.
The first puppy I've raised on my own.
From the start, she clambered over sofas like a seasoned sherpa--nicknamed her Little Lynx.
Experimented with agility training, early this year.
She took to it like a hand-to-glove.

Much to think about, and parse, here:
--seems like UPS is benefitting from miscalculating
--no oversight of the duty-collection yields errors everywhere
--U.S. postal system not designed, staffed, etc. to address the change
--continues to beg the question: WHERE does all the money GO?

Why invest in this way?

Ecological restoration:
--provides jobs
--robustly develops community
--provides adolescents education & involvement
--acts locally, thinking globally
--improves local health (physical and psychological)
--is immediately visible
--gets people outdoors (all the benefits)

National Parks have reduced staff, due to federal governance shutdown. Such a critical element of preservation, these parks, yet remain grossly underfunded.

Were we to make America great again, one big step : invest enormously in fully funding National Parks and ecological restoration.

Are we attracted to superpowers (flight, telepathy, etc) out of a substitution for control?
In the sense that, when we feel so powerless in different situations, thinking ‘if I just had powers, it would solve my problems’. . and then using superpowered entertainment for that unattainable fantasy?

Something frustrating:
as a species, we’ve been fully socially function for several thousand years. . .
. . we’ve developed vaccines
. . . we’ve developed solar power
. . . we’ve developed sustainable agriculture
. . . we’ve developed diplomacy
. . . yet we still fight each other?

Digital access just allows it to spread immediately.

One more step, fully complete today, towards drastic change.
How often are any of us willing to ‘dig in’(invest) for meaningful self, ecological, economic, or social change?
How often do we sustain such, towards the desired outcome?
It is easier to quit, than persevere.
