Thanatos suggested they might provide damning info about Trump. What they might or might not accept in exchange for removing sanctions is another issue entirely. Also, it isn't so much about the US. They want to sell gas and oil to Europe, Asia and Africa, not the US.

Forget international relations. It is about human psychology and internal politics. Even if they supported the invasion of Ukraine, they will deny it and blame the previous guy, Putin. If they can also involve a perceived arch-enemy, the US, they will have no problem putting part of the blame on US.

Rutte never knew what was going on in the Netherlands despite being prime minister for 14 years. 🤷‍♀️

Rutte famously once answered a question from a journalist about his vision for the future with "If you suffer from vision, go to an optician".

The man is a buffoon. We are happy he is out of Dutch politics and now has a role with no independent executive authority.

Which area does this data cover? What is the source? Thanks.

Fiat 600, as pictured below left. The Hillman Minx (pictured below right) doesn't look like the car in the photograph.

Ouch. The small graphs are actually January-June and as you noted, they used the wrong shade of blue for the model Y. (Also, they shouldn't be using the same colour. Colour-blind people might struggle). Quite chaotic indeed.

OK, you are clueless and idiotic. 👋

The aim of city planners is to to move as many people as possible within a given time so that they can get to work, or to whatever their destination is. If you don't understand something as basic as that you really shouldn't be writing about this.

And why would it be ship sized? That's silly.

I don't know how cities work in America, but in Europe, Helsinki is not Brussels.

And also in Europe, it is maths, not math. We can calculate more than one thing.

That isn't simple physics. It is juts simplistic.

In the real world, as speed decreases, distance between vehicles also decreases. Lower speed limits do not reduce flow capacity.

The point is usually to move as many people as possible. Public transport and bikes do a much better job at that than cars do.

He actually says "They took that and made such a big deal" while the interviewer talks over him.

He still belongs in jail together with Maxwell, just to be clear.

That's probably true. I'm just reporting on what they themselves say. But my point is that your definition of socialism is not shared by everyone. Especially not socialists. :)
July 23, 2025 at 9:47 PM
Oh sure and it gets much worse than that. I suspect you are aware of the great replacement theory....

But that isn't what I talking about. I don't parrot inane and toxic right wing propaganda. I am talking about what western socialists themselves believe. See the links I provided.
July 23, 2025 at 2:28 AM
I am talking about western socialists, not communist regimes. Western socialists are not against migration per se. That is not right wing propaganda.

As I explained, we are not using the same definitions. You are talking about what I would call authoritarian communism. That isn't the same as democratic socialism. I don't really care which definition is used but if we are not talking the same language, it gets a bit hard to communicate.
